secret computer cookies are not yummy

I know I don't post much on my blogs, but I read the Wall Street Journal and found an article about web tracking and how it's getting smarter. I don't like it. I did some searching and found a page that had a pretty good discussion. It's a bit technical and involves some code, so may not be for everyone.
The programs I use to keep my computer "clean" seem to do a pretty good job. They are all free and if you keep them UPDATED they should keep the little nasties off your computer as well.
A bit of cookie basics.
